Public Skate: 2nd Period - Bruins 0 Flyers 1

A quick 1st period saw hits, fights, and goals. Almost none of them went in the Bruins favor.

A hit by Schenn on Krug. A fight by Schenn against Miller. A goal by Voracek between four white sweaters. And that's all she wrote for the opening 20 minutes.

Boston out-shot the Flyers 8-5 in the period, including holding Phialdelphia's powerplay to 1 SOG on the only special teams opportunity. And some good chances came the Bruins' way, including shots from Loui Eriksson and Patrice Bergeron, and a missed open net backhand chance from Max Talbot.

Pretty even play, but nothing going well on the score sheet for the Bruins. Let's hope they can turn it around in the next stanza, against the 4th best team in the league in 2nd Period Goals Against.
