Public Skate: 3rd Period - Bruins 2 Flyers 1

Two in two! Bruins score twice in the middle period to take the lead.

Kevan Miller has a shot at a Gordie Howe hat trick. Which, if complete, would be henceforth known as the "Kevan, How?" hat trick. Max Talbot got the assist on what was honestly a beautiful feed and finish in the offense zone from the depth squad.

The Bruins are also 1-for-1 on the powerplay, with Ryan Spooner and Loui Eriksson capitalizing to put the Bruins on top for the first time this game. Loui Eriksson now has 8 powerplay goals on the year, good for 5th in the league with about six other guys including Patrice Bergeron. Ryan Spooner picked up his 8th powerplay assist for his 30th point of the season.

Boston killed off another powerplay chance for the Flyers, making them a perfect 3/3 on the penalty kill. That doesn't mean the Flyers haven't looked good, however, since they've had some very good 5-on-5 chances, including a puck that was just barely wide of the net in the final 62 seconds of the period. Can the Bruins hold? HOOOOOOOOLD, BOYS.
