Jake DeBrusk scores a hat trick and gets two assists against the Brandon Wheat Kings

DeBrusk's Red Deer Rebels won 10 - 0 over the Brandon Wheat Kings, and he has 10 points in his first four games with the Rebels

Here are his three goals so far:

DeBrusk from Helewka, who was fed by DeBrusk by a nice saucer pass.

Then DeBrusk scored from Nelson Nogier, creating his own space and separating from the Wheat King defense so he could fire a shot high glove.

And on his hat trick goal, DeBrusk crashed the net hard and jammed home the rebound. Real solid all around play by him so far this game.

UPDATE: DeBrusk would score a fourth goal, protecting the puck well and firing a laser while skating backwards. This was later changed to an assist, deeming that Ivan Nikolishin tipped it in front, so just an assist here, giving him a hat trick and two assists tonight.

DeBrusk also put up an assist on Red Deer's second goal, with his falling feed setting up Adam Helewka at the side of the net.
