Preview:

The Bruins are coming off their first preseason win, delivered by Ryan Spooner in overtime. However, they’ll be facing a team in the Flyers that hasn’t allowed a goal for the last two games.

These were the lines from the team’s morning skate at Warrior, though they’re already decimated because Zac Rinaldo, Mark Naclerio, Colton Hargrove and Tim Schaller aren’t traveling to Philly tonight. Instead, we’ll see (hear?) Danton Heinen, Riley Nash, Seth Griffith, and Colby Cave in their place. On defense will be Chris Casto, Tommy Cross, Colin Miller, Kevan Miller, Rob O’Gara, Jakub Sboril, and Joe Morrow - who missed the morning skate but is in the lineup tonight. Zane MacIntyre and Malcolm Subban are the rostered goalies.

The real excitement, however, lies in two Davids returning to the lineup. David Pastrnak is back after spending the last few weeks representing his country in the World Cup. David Backes also debuts with the Bruins against a real opponent, and Backes is excited to get to work. Via the Bruins’ official website, Backes notes that "it's been a long time coming now. This will be exciting to put this jersey on and go hit somebody else instead of my own teammates for a change. I'm looking forward to it." #gritnhart.

Additionally, Bruins coach Claude Julien returned to practice on Friday and one would assume that he’ll be behind the bench for tonight’s game.

Also, check out Michael Neuvirth’s new mask, paying tribute to the late Flyers owner Ed Snider:
