Bruins lose Seth Griffith to a Toronto waiver claim

oh nooooo :(

NHL: Preseason-Boston Bruins at Columbus Blue Jackets Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

The Bruins officially lost center Seth Griffith to the Maple Leafs on waivers today.

Griffith was drafted in the fifth round in 2012, and has 6-4-10 totals through 34 NHL games; last season for Providence he scored 24 goals, adding 43 assists for 77 points, the highest points total of anyone on the team, and second in goals to only Frank Vatrano.

This sucks.

Tyler Randell and Tim Schaller appear to have cleared waivers.
