Per the Bruins’ Twitter account:
#NHLBruins recall goaltender Malcolm Subban from @AHLBruins on an emergency basis: https://t.co/v52dDZOWO0 pic.twitter.com/OJZOfmkeBn

The drama apparently began with Anton Khudobin suffering some kind of injury in practice:
#NHLBruins G Anton Khudobin has left practice. Right hand or right wrist issue.

With Rask still not 100% and now Khudobin ailing, that left Subban as the next man up.
Subban has had a rough go of it in Providence lately, getting pulled after allowing 3 goals on 9 shots Friday.
Per Mark Divver of the Providence Journal, he had a decent outing last night:
After allowing 3 goals on 9 shots Fri. night, Malcolm Subban made 30 saves in Sun. OT loss to Albany

Providence coach Kevin Dean was none too pleased with Friday’s effort, but liked what he saw yesterday a bit more:
Kevin Dean on Subban yesterday: 'I don't know if he's where he wants to be or where we want him to be, but it certainly was much better.'

Subban, you’ll remember, missed significant time last season after taking a puck to the throat. Can’t help but think the kid may need some time to get his game back together, physically and mentally.
Looks like he may get a chance to strut his stuff at the Garden on Tuesday, but, given his recent struggles, Julien and Co. may do whatever they can to get Rask or Khudobin ready instead.
