Bruins Prospects: Three Stars of the Week

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports
Week of October 24 - 30

First Star (5 points)
Anders Bjork (NCAA)
This Week: 2 games played - 2 goals - 3 assists - 8 shots

Another huge week for the NCAA's joint leader in points highlighted by a two-goal, two-assist performance in his first game of the week. Bjork is well on his way to setting new career highs in pretty much every offensive category.

Second Star (3 points)
Ryan Donato - Harvard (NCAA)
This Week: 2 games played - 2 goals - 10 shots

Harvard's season may start later than the rest of NCAA teams, but Donato wasted no time, putting up two goals and six shots in the opener.

Third Star (1 point)
Ryan Fitzgerald - Boston College (NCAA)
This Week: 2 games played - 1 goal - assist - 7 shots

It's been a surprisingly slow start to the year for Fitzgerald, who finished last year tied 14th in points and who's now outside of the top 50 scorers. It may have been the opponent (UMass is not very good) but perhaps the two points and five shots he put up are hinting that Fitzgerald is getting in form.

Season Total (4 Weeks)
  1. Bjork - 10 points
  2. Gabrielle - 9 points
  3. Senyshyn - 6 points
  4. Forsbacka-Karlsson - 5 points
  5. Donato - 3 points
  6. Zboril, Frederic, Fitzgerald - 1 point
