In Bruins news:

  • Was Ryan Spooner’s trial on the wing for the purpose of showcasing? And HOLY MOLY, did you see the other Jake DeBrusk rush to the net last night, aside from the one that led to the Seth Griffith goal? Causeway Crowd
  • In case you missed it, the Bruins topped the Blue Jackets 2-1. Claude Julien was impressed by his youngsters, and will also take one more hard look at Christian Ehrhoff. Boston Herald
  • It looks like Anton Khudobin has passed his audition, and in the final accounting, this may be best for both Malcolm Subban and Tuukka Rask. The Boston Globe
