LINES: Bruins vs. Senators Thanksgiving Day Showdown

We'll see a lot less experience on the blue line, as Chara didn't travel with the team.

Here's the Bruins practice lineup from yesterday, making assumptions for tonight's game. Not everyone skated this morning. No surprises on the front end, as Pastrnak gets his normal spot back on the top line, Nash gets pushed back to the 3rd line, Schaller to the 4th, and Kuraly rotates (and likely sits). Liles and Carlo will draw top-pair minutes, and McQuaid now identifies as our top shutdown defenseman. Yes, I just gurgled a bit. Kevan Miller also returns, slotting in alongside Joe Morrow.

Forwards:

Brad Marchand - Patrice Bergeron - David Pastrnak

Matt Beleskey - David Krejci - David Backes

Ryan Spooner - Riley Nash - Austin Czarnik

Tim Schaller - Dominic Moore - Jimmy Hayes
(Sean Kuraly rotated with Schaller)

Defense:

Brandon Carlo - John-Michael Liles

Torey Krug - Adam McQuaid

Joe Morrow - Kevan Miller

Colin Miller was the odd man out at practice yesterday.

Goalies:

Zane McIntyre skated this morning; Tuukka Rask did not. The assumption is that Tuukka will play today.

Ottawa will likely counter with similar lines from their game earlier this week against Montreal. Bobby Ryan is coming in, and you have to assume he'll play the top line. Looking forward to seeing Chris Kelly again. Not looking forward to seeing Chris Neil again, who is also an assistant captain for the Sens. Scrapin' the barrel, eh?

Forwards:
Ryan Dzingel - Kyle Turris - Bobby Ryan

Mike Hoffman - Derick Brassard - Mark Stone

Zack Smith - Jean-Gabriel Pageau - Chris Kelly

Max McCormick - Curtis Lazar - Chris Neil

Where does Tom Pyatt slot in?

Defense:
Marc Methot - Erik Karlsson

Dion Phaneuf - Cody Ceci

Mark Borowiecki - Chris Wideman

Goalies:

Craig Anderson (starter)

Mike Condon
