The Bruins announced earlier today that Jesse Gabrielle has been signed to an ELC.

Gabrielle was selected in the 4th round of the 2015 NHL draft by Boston from the Brandon Wheat Kings, Prince George Cougars and Regina Pats. He came off of his most productive year in the WHL this year with 75 points in 72 games. The good times continue to roll for Jesse as he is already keeping pace with his previous season, being at 31 points in 26 games with the Cougars, of whom he’s returned to full-time.

Here is his stats from Junior so far:

His assessment from Joe Curtis at EliteProspects.com in 2014

A gritty winger who plays with an edge and has a nose for the net. Plays an agitative style and is very effective on the forecheck. Possesses good skating ability and is able to evade larger opponents with ease. All-in-all, a scrappy, skilled winger that can be difficult to play against.

Prince George plays their next game at home vs. the Tri-City Americans.

Welcome to officially being in Boston’s system, Jesse!
