Anders Bjork named Co-Player of the Week for Hockey East

The Bruins’ prospect netted two goals for Notre Dame in the last seven days

Anders Bjork, Boston’s fifth-round pick in 2014 (146th overall), was named Hockey East’s co-Player of the Week for scoring two goals and one assist in that span, with both goals coming against #3-ranked Boston College, one of which was a shortanded, unassisted, game-winning goal. He has 13 goals and 28 points in 17 games this season for the Irish.
Bjork shares this week’s honors with UMaine Black Bear’s Chase Pearson, who had some nice stats this week as well (5G, 1A in 2GP).
