The Bruins had their morning skate at around 11:30 this morning, warming up for tonight’s tilt against the surging Penguins.
Based on reports from the team’s Twitter account, there haven’t been many changes in the lineup aside from Torey Krug and Adam McQuaid not skating.
Krug may have tweaked something in his scuffle with Brendan Gallagher, though he played very well for the rest of the game.
McQuaid seemed to get banged around pretty heavily all game, especially in that collision with the stanchion. The call-up of Grzelcyk implies that at least one of them won’t be able to go tonight.
Your forward lines:
Marchand-Bergeron-Backes
Schaller-Krejci-Pastrnak
Spooner-Czarnik-Hayes/Heinen
Moore-Nash-Acciari
These lines are all the same as Monday night, with the only real question mark being the Hayes/Heinen switch.
Hayes had a decent game on Monday night (leading the team in 5v5 possession), but Julien may just rotate Heinen in to get him a game.
Your defense:
Chara-Carlo
Grzelcyk-C.Miller
Morrow-K. Miller
Chances are these pairings will change. Assuming one of Krug or McQuaid plays, someone’s sliding out. It wouldn’t make a ton of sense to pair Grzelcyk with a guy like Colin Miller, though a Morrow-Grzelcyk pairing is scary too.
Krug-Grzelcyk? That could be fun.
Expect Tuukka Rask to get the start between the pipes, with Anton Khudobin likely getting a look at home tomorrow vs. Anaheim.
