The Bruins offense has been virtually nonexistent over the last steak of games. Only 1 goal in a defense heavy win over the Kings and 2, in quick succession in the third period, in a loss to the Islanders. Luckily for the B’s, two big pieces of their offense should be in the lineup tonight based on this morning's line rushes.

Pasta has missed only two games after having surgery to remove the bursa sac in his right elbow, the same surgery that kept David Backes out five games. Frankie V should make his season debut after having surgery on his left ankle. If both of these guys can produce at high levels and maybe elevate the games of their potential linemates (especually Pastrnak to Bergy), then maybe there's hope after all for hockey in Boston.
