Bruins vs. Sabres - Projected lines

Will Claude make some swaps? Probably.

NHL: Boston Bruins at Columbus Blue Jackets Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

The Bruins didn’t have a morning skate this morning, so we get to play a guessing game!

(There was an optional skate, but those are often meaningless in terms of who’s playing where.)

Tuukka Rask has been good against the Sabres in his career (and great as of late); couple that with Anton Khudobin’s struggles and it’s likely Rask gets the nod.

Now, the forwards...a mystery!

Chances are Claude isn’t going to do major tinkering with his lines. That’s likely to be saved for after the weekend, when the B’s can get full home practices in.

The forwards were decent on Tuesday night, with pressure from the top two and a goal from the third.

The fourth is where it gets tricky.

The new fourth line of Anton Blidh, Dominic Moore and Jimmy Hayes had been great for stretches, but it struggled on Tuesday. Considering Tim Schaller and Noel Acciari have each sat for more than a week now, we’ll go out on a limb and say one draws in, probably Acciari for Hayes.

That gives you...

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak

Spooner - Krejci - Backes

Vatrano - Czarnik - Nash

Blidh - Moore - Acciari

Chara - Carlo

McQuaid - Krug

Miller - Miller

Rask

For Buffalo, here’s what to expect, straight from the team’s website:

Foligno - Eichel - Moulson

Kane - Larsson - Gionta

Girgensons - Reinhart - Okposo

Deslauriers - Grant - Carrier

McCabe - Ristolainen

Gorges - Bogosian

Falk - Franson
