David Backes Out Indefinitely With Concussion

A big loss for the B’s here, as the free agent pickup has already missed games due to injury this season.

The Bruins announced during their game against the Buffalo Sabres that David Backes would be out indefinitely with a concussion.

He’s not the first Bruin to be out indefinitely with a concussion this season, as John-Michael Liles, who has been out since November 27th, recently practiced with the team for the first time. Backes, who has 9 goals and 10 assists on the season already, was plugging away in the top 6. He also missed 5 games earlier this season with the removal of the bursa sac in his elbow. We hope the concussion isn’t too severe and Backes is cleared to return soon.
