Bruins Prospects: Three Stars of the Week

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports
Week of November 28 - December 4

First Star (5 points)
Zach Senyshyn - SSM (OHL)
This Week: 2 games played - 4 goals - 11 shots

Senyshyn retains first star honors on the back of his four goal performance in the win over Barrie. He has nine goals since the start of November (12 games).

Second Star (3 points)
Jesse Gabrielle - Prince George (WHL)
This Week: 3 games played - 4 goals - 1 assist

Typically five points and a hat trick is a lock for first star honors - not the case this week. Never the less, a tremendously strong week for the '15 draft pick with goals in two of his three games played, including the aforementioned hat trick.

Third Star (1 point)
Ryan Donato - Harvard (NCAA)
This Week: 2 games played - 2 goals - 1 assist - 8 shots

Another strong week for Donato registering points in both of his games. He has six points (3-3-6) in his last three games. Donato narrowly beat Bjork (who also had a 2-1-3 line in two games) for the final spot by registering one additional shot and facing stiffer competition.

Season Total (9 Weeks)
  1. Senyshyn - 21 points
  2. Gabrielle - 18 points
  3. Bjork - 11 points
  4. Donato - 10 points
  5. Zboril - 9 points
  6. Forsbacka-Karlsson - 5 points
  7. Fitzgerald - 4 points
  8. Frederic, Lauzon, McAvoy - 1 point
