Bruins vs. Predators 2/18/16: Preview: Late edition!

Time to bring some dirty water to music city

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

THE TIME: 8pm

THE PLACE: Bridgestone Arena, Home location of SUNSPHERE, Tennessee

THE STAKES: 2 points to keep the Red Wings ay an arm's length in the standings and get within 2 points of 1st in the Atlantic!

WHERE TO WATCH: NESN, Fox Sports-Tennessee

WHERE TO LISTEN: 98.5 FM

THE PREVIEW: After a slow game in Columbus the Bruins now get to play two central teams in a row. And tonight it starts with a team that would've been much scarier to play two months ago, the Nashville Predators. The Preds stalled out early in the season and are trying to make sense of what happened, doing anything they can to regain their former glory, even trading to get Ryan Johanson. This has managed to squeak them back into the wild card.

The Bruins meanwhile, are 6-3-1 in their last ten and while it wasn't totally pretty, it's been enough to get them tantalizingly close to 1st in the division. They previously played to a 3-2 loss in their last game against the Preds, and are looking to even the score before they can just forget about them forever. Can they do it? Tune in to find out!

NEVER 4GET:

Brad Marchand fighting Roman Josi. Yes, that actually happened.
