Game Notes: Dallas has had a breakout season and are currently in a tooth-and-nail battle for the Central Division with the Chicago Blackhawks, currently trailing Chicago by a single point with two games in hand.
The Bruins have snatched second place in the Atlantic, and are holding it, also, by a single point over the Detroit Red Wings. The Tampa Bay Lightning are two points back of the Bruins with a game in hand--they'll have played in the early game vs. Pittsburgh by the time this one starts--and, finally, the Bruins are still looking up at the Florida Panthers by five points.
If Dallas has an achilles heel, it's been the goaltending this season. They've scored 191 Goals, more than any other team (4 more than the Washington Capitals), but they've conceded 162 between the tandem of Antti Niemi and Kari Lehtonen being rather inconsistent. The Bruins, for context, have a goal differential about half as good.

They're be more on the lines as soon as there's anything from the team sources. Happy Saturday Morning!
