After a heart-felt post in the Player's Tribune just the other day, Jimmy Vesey has informed the Nashville Predators that he'll be pursuing free agency:
Representatives for Jimmy Vesey today informed NSH their client will be exercising his right to unrestricted free agency on Aug. 15. #TSN

Jimmy Vesey was the captain of the Harvard Men's Hockey team this past season, making the Frozen Four regional tournaments but falling short in game one. Vesey grew up in Charlestown, playing with Bruins prospect Matt Grzelcyk.
Jimmy Vesey has until August 15th to wait for free agency. I'm sure Nashville will attempt to sway him during that time.
Here's hoping his family convinces him that Boston would be a great place to play.
