Earlier in tonight's game, Alex Ovechkin got Kevan Miller with a really...really....stupendously badly executed and disciplined hit that'd get him 5 minutes in the 2nd period.
Kevan left the game and we got confirmation that he wouldn't return to tonight's game and is being treated for a re-aggrivated shoulder injury via Courtney Fallon of FOX25:
Just got word from an NHL official D Kevan Miller is already at a local area hospital. Same surgically repaired shoulder from a year ago.— Courtney Fallon (@CourtneyFallon_) March 6, 2016
Kevan has had a rash of bad injuries involving his shoulder, and the bad hit has only made it worse. We wish him all the best during his recovery.
