Matt Beleskey & John-Michael Liles had a couple great setups in the 1st, leading to goals by David Krejci & Loui Eriksson. After the opening period, the Bruins lead the Blues 2-1. St. Louis' lone goal came on a 2-on-1 with Torey Krug stuck in no-mans land, and Jaden Schwartz buried a saucer pass from Jori Lehtera to open the scoring.

The Bruins also lost Kevan Miller for what looks to be the rest of the night. Miller went in hard on the boards after contact with Maagnus Paajarvi. Miller needed help from Joe Morrow and David Krejci getting off the ice, and was assisted on his way down the tunnel. It seemed to be a shoulder injury, but he was favoring his entire right side.

Shots on goal were 8-8, and both teams are 0-for-1 on the powerplay and 1-1 on the penalty kill. Definitely a grinder in this one, as there were a handful of big hits on both sides.

Can the Bruins hold the lead? Could they even add to it? Boston has already scored more goals than the Blues' last five opponents combined, so I'd say anything is possible.
