Bruins breakup day traditionally brings the time when we hear about all sorts of injuries the team has been struggling through, which tend to get more gruesome the deeper into the playoffs the team gets.
Aside from Rask's gastronomic issues during the Senators game the other day, we've also learned that David Krejci will have offseason hip surgery - the same surgery he had on the other hip six years ago to correct a hip impingement. Krejci had that surgery immediately after signing a three year contract; coincidentally, today he also offered an insight on his plans for when his current contract runs out:
Spoke to Krejci about Datsyuk. Krejci plans to move home to Czech after his contract (2021) and play there.

Krejci will be 30 this month; the end of his contract would put him at age 35, giving him a few solid years of time in the Czech Extraliga. That's still a ways away, but it's a little sad knowing definitively what the end of his time here will be, barring a trade.
