First period

Noel Acciari shorthanded, so fast that they hadn't finished running the Powerplay display! The AHL live displays are just the jumbotron feed, leading to some interesting shots and videos.

Alex Khokhlachev lit up by Tim Erixon in the neutral zone, there would be no penalties called, and Khokhlachev would remain in the game.

Chris Casto and Steve Oleksy fight in part due to the hit.

Colby Cave capitalizes on the Will O'Neill broken stick, making the lead 2-0.

Second period

Jeremy Smith with the nice windmill save, keeping the game 2-0. Both teams would get 33 shots in the game.

Tim Erixon fires a shot from the point that gets through Jeremy Smith. Assists go to Tom Sestito and Dominic Simon.

Daniel Sprong from Kael Mouillierat. Despite turning the puck over for the first Bruins goal, Sprong had a solid game, and would be named the first

Tom Kostopoulos from Carter Rowney and Jake Guentzel

Third period

Frank Vatrano from Seth Griffith and Noel Acciari

Overtime:

Dustin Jeffrey, which would be overturned due to goaltender interference by Mouillierat. However, this would only prolong the inevitable for the Providence Bruins.

After the puck appeared to go into the bench, play continued until Daniel Sprong tucked home the backdoor pass from from Kael Mouillierat and Barry Goers to make the series 2-0.

The very physical Penguins have made life difficult for the Bruins, as they have no time to do anything with the puck when they get it. That, coupled with sloppy in zone coverage, and some unlucky bounces, have put the Bruins in a hole, now needing to win their next three games, all at home, to move on to the second round.
