Game Notes:

  • Will you be in attendance for tonight's game? If so, then congratulations, you'll have the opportunity to star in a Jake Gyllenhaal movie!
  • Boston (90 points) trails both Detroit (third in Atlantic) and Philadelphia (2nd Wild Card) by 1 point in the standings. Philadelphia has one game in-hand.
  • Philadelphia and Detroit play each Wednesday night at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. A Boston win tonight is a must, I guess is what I'm trying to say.
  • Here are some personnel notes from yesterday's practice:

  • Seidenberg left practice early, as Shinzawa reported, so don't expect him to return to the lineup on Tuesday night. Chris Kelly is working his tail off to make a possible playoff return, or just to be in great shape when he goes golfing next Friday. The next three games ultimately determine Kelly's plans.

Never Forget:

I would like to see playoff hockey return to Boston, just so we know for certain Claude Julien will be here next fall.
