The Bruins' chances of making to postseason just got a little bit harder today.

This morning it was reported that the New York Rangers will be sitting four of their better skaters in tomorrow's final game of the season against the visiting Detroit Red Wings. On top of the shake-up in lines, the Rags will be starting back-up goaltender Antti Raanta.

Raanta has started 17 games this season, and has a 10-6-2 record overall with a .918 SV% & 2.27 GAA. Key skaters still in the game tomorrow are guys like Derek Stepan, Rick Nash, Chris Kreider, Kevin Hayes, Eric Staal, and Derick Brassard. So while it's stripped down to its core, the team that'll be on the ice will still have some talent.

Jimmy Howard will also be getting the nod in net for the last game of the regular season on Detroit's side. And his numbers against the Rangers are prettyyyyyy, pretty good. In 8GP, Howard is 4-2-2 with a .952 SV% and 1.73 GAA. Raanta has never faced the Red Wings.

Here's hoping the Wings lose, or at least don't win 'til a shootout. And that the Rangers proceed to get out-scored 94-0 and swept by the Panthers in the 1st round.
