SCOC 30 Days of Fandom: Day 8 - Which NHL player would you most like to see on the Bruins?

We're still rollin'!

It's the doldrums of another long offseason for the Bruins. That sucks. What also sucks: finding enough fun things to entertain you guys, in and around trying to bring you informative coverage of the team. But let's be honest: nothing is happening right now, and nothing is probably going to happen until about the middle of June.

We've decided to fill the space with this 30-day challenge! Every day we will give you, our Chowder commentariat, a topic to discuss, and we'll give a few staff answers on the topic as well. We're borrowing this idea from Second City Hockey, who borrowed it from SB Nation's wrestling blog, who borrowed it from...tumblr, probably.

It goes without saying but please respect everyone's stories and opinions - there's no right way to be a fan, and we're hoping to get lots of fun anecdotes out of some of these topics.

Day 8: Which current NHL player would you love to see on the Bruins?

Sarah: Colton Parayko. Aside from him solving a large amount of our defensive problems, I'd be happy to just watch him and Chara do a hardest shot comeptition among themselves.

Marcie: John Carlson because HE'S A GOOD NATICK BOY PLAYS THE GAME WELL N ALL THAT THUMBS UP LET'S GO

Cornelius: Chris Pronger (pre-concussion) was a guy I always wanted on the Bruins. Alas.

Paul: Johnny Gaudreau, because holy crap imagine him with Bergeron & Marchand-that line is like a triple threat of awesome. Or, Jason Pominville, purely because he is one of the most underrated players in the NHL. He's also my favourite ever NHLer along with Patrick Marleau, so there we are.

Nolan: Subban because if him and Malcolm are on the same team the Bruins automatically qualify for the ECF.

Cam: Hampus Lindholm because he dictates play with his strong stick play, great speed, and innate instincts to always be in the right place. WAIT I LOVE JONNY GAUDREAU. UGH HE IS BAE.
