Bruins put Dennis Seidenberg on waivers for buyout

New, comments

Goodbye.

Bob McKenzie with the bombshell! Dennis Seidenberg has been placed on unconditonal on waivers for the purpose of a buyout. If, like me, you had to google these waivers because the Bruins have never freaking used them, there is a period between June 15-30 when teams can notify the player and league that they intend to buy out a contract.

What does this mean for the Bruins, immediately? It means they now have $2.8M to play with this coming year.

That is a heck of a lot of cap space, friends.

Thanks for your service, Seids. This is how I choose to remember your time with the Bruins:
