The Boston Pride agreed to terms on a one-year, $19,000 contract with Boston College graduate and Olympian Alex Carpenter on Sunday.
“There are few pure goal scorers in hockey, and Alex is one of those players who just knows how to find the back of the net,” Pride general manager Hayley Moore said in a press release. “Her Boston roots will make her a fan favorite, and she’s still getting better every day. I look forward to seeing Alex continue to grow and “wow” our fans.”
With the signing, the Pride roster now stands at 10, with just over six hours to go until the free agency window closes. Stay tuned here for all the breaking news!
