The Bruins announced today that Frank Vatrano tore a ligament during training camp and will require surgery that put's him out of action for three months.
Vatrano was planning to make the NHL roster after an extremely successful AHL campaign that saw him playing at levels not seen in the AHL. He also managed to put tover her an impressive half season in the NHL, giving hope that he'd try for the whole season next year.
More details to follow as they arrive, but we at SCOC wish Frank all the best and a swift recovery.
