The Bruins have some essplainin’ to do after that awful, awful loss to the Islanders.

After practice was cancelled yesterday, the lineup is likely in flux; expect more Claude magic during the game, but here’s the best look from this morning.

Forwards

Brad Marchand - Patrice Bergeron - David Pastrnak

Frank Vatrano - David Krejci - David Backes

Tim Schaller - Ryan Spooner - Riley Nash

Anton Blidh - Dominic Moore - Austin Czarnik

While Matt Beleskey traveled to Detroit and is on the ice, but is not taking rushes with the team.

Defense

Zdeno Chara - Brandon Carlo

Torey Krug - Adam McQuaid

Joe Morrow - John-Michael Liles

The Millers are still hurt.

Goalie

Expect Tuukka Rask; he was first off, and the Bruins need to shut the door on this team.

For Detroit, we’ll see a similar lineup to their last couple games.

Forwards

Gustav Nyquist - Henrik Zetterberg - Anthony Mantha

Andreas Athanasiou - Frans Nielsen - Tomas Vanek

Tomas Tatar - Riley Sheahan - Dylan Larkin

Justin Abdelkader - Luke Glendening - Drew Miller

Steve Ott and Tomas Jurco are healthy scratches. Johan Franzen is still on LTIR after concussions kept him out nearly all of last year, too. Get well, Mule. Darren Helm is skating but still recovering from separating his shoulder in mid-November, and Tyler Bertuzzi’s high ankle sprain is still keeping him out of the lineup.

Defense

Danny DeKeyser - Mike Green

Jonathan Ericsson - Alexey Marchenko

Xavier Ouellet - Nick Jensen

Niklas Kronwall is still recovering from a groin injury; Brendan Smith sprained his MCL at the end of November and should be nearing game-readiness.

Goalie

Jared Coreau was first off, so expect him to start this evening.
