It is with the heaviest of hearts that people learned that Milt Schmidt passed away today at 98 years of age. One of the ultimate Bruins, he was a player from 1937-1955, coach for just about 11 seasons, general manager of both the ‘70 and ‘72 Stanley Cup Champions and overall advocate of the Boston Bruins brand.
Just received confirmation that Mr. Bruin, Milt Schmidt, has passed away.
