Craig Cunningham Remains Optimistic Through It All

More details emerge about how the former Bruins forward is doing and what doctors did to keep him alive.

NHL: Arizona Coyotes at Pittsburgh Penguins Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Now past the new year, Craig Cunningham is looking at all the positives of being alive. After collapsing on the ice during a game on November 19th, he’s been on a long road to recovery, which apparently included amputating part of his left leg.

From Custance’s article:

They said it was best to remove it. So they removed it.

He hasn’t wanted people to focus on it and instead focus on more positive things, for one the fact that he’s still alive and just how amazing his mother is for being strong through everything. While he might not be playing hockey anymore, we sincerely wish Craig the best of everything.
