Now past the new year, Craig Cunningham is looking at all the positives of being alive. After collapsing on the ice during a game on November 19th, he’s been on a long road to recovery, which apparently included amputating part of his left leg.
Even after losing part of his leg, Craig Cunningham remains positive, thankful: "I'm lucky I'm not 10 feet under." https://t.co/WWOTg9pzbe— Craig Custance (@CraigCustance) January 5, 2017
From Custance’s article:
They said it was best to remove it. So they removed it.
He hasn’t wanted people to focus on it and instead focus on more positive things, for one the fact that he’s still alive and just how amazing his mother is for being strong through everything. While he might not be playing hockey anymore, we sincerely wish Craig the best of everything.
