Bruins diverted to Miami International in the wake of the Ft.Lauderdale shooting. Everyone is fine.

In the wake of an awful shooting at Ft. Lauderdale, The Bruins issued a travel update regarding their plans to get to Sunrise for tomorrow’s action.

The Bruins team plane was diverted to Miami International Airport from Fort Lauderdale and landed at 5:05 pm. The thoughts and prayers of the Bruins organization are with the victims of today's shooting and the entire Fort Lauderdale community.

It’s awful that anyone should fall to gunfire in any scenario, much less when the place in question is not an active combat zone. While it’s nice to know the Bruins made it on time and made it without much incident, myself and I assume SCOC’s writing staff wish the people of Ft. Lauderdale an easy couple of days, and nothing but absolution and peace for the families of those affected, and a full recovery for those who are still being tended to during the attack.
