Players to look out for:

  • Artemi Panarin, in spite of having only one goal, leads the Jackets in points with 10. He’s dishing pucks out like nobody’s business.
  • Sergei Bobrovsky is currently rocking a .938 Save-% in 8 starts.
  • Sonny Milano currently heads up the goalscoring effort in Columbus, with a team-leading 5.
  • Don’t look now, but Brad Marchand currently leads Boston in points!
  • Charlie McAvoy leads Boston in assists!
  • This is more of a negative, but Torey Krug’s efforts the last few games have been absolutely putrid. The kid’s gonna have to have a big game tonight in order to get back on track.

Preview:

As time tried really hard not to expire, Boston lost a heart-breaking, heart-pounding game that couldn’t have been closer if it tried in a completely dumb way. Meanwhile, Columbus got their lunch eaten right out of their hands by St. Louis, who beat them 4-1 as Joonas Korpisalo completely wasted their efforts by pitching a near-.900 performance in goal and buried them in shots in a high-event game.

Needless to say, both teams need to make a big statement about who they are tonight. It’s their last game in October, and both sides need to prove that they are more than the sum of their injuries or player inconsistencies. Both teams are rested, both teams are ready for tonight.

Will Boston come away the winner? Tune in, and find out!
