After a 95 save effort in a weekend sweep of Quinnipiac, University of Maine goalie Jeremy Swayman earned Hockey East player of the week honors.
A Bruins 4th round pick in the 2017 draft, Swayman has been stellar in his freshman campaign for the Black Bears, compiling a .927 save percentage and a 7-3-1 record.
Swayman’s strong play has already earned the Anchorage, AK native a spot on Team USA’s preliminary World Junior roster.
