While the Bruins didn’t end up winning on Saturday, they also didn’t play poorly. So why mess with what worked, right?
That’s apparently the mantra of Bruce Cassidy, who iced these lines on Monday morning:
#NHLBruins morning rushes:
— Boston Bruins (@NHLBruins) December 18, 2017
Marchand – Bergeron – Pastrnak
DeBrusk – Krejci – Spooner
Heinen – Nash – Backes
Schaller – Kuraly – Acciari
Chara – McAvoy
Krug – Carlo
Grzelcyk – Miller
The more things change, the more they stay the same. The exact same, actually.
From some of the writers who are there, news on the starting goalie and Mr. Adam McQuaid:
#NHLBruins coach Bruce Cassidy says Rask starts tonight vs. CBJ, rest of lineup same as Sat. vs. NYR.

#NHLBruins coach B.Cassidy days D Adam McQuaid not playing tonight, but hasn't been ruled out Tues. at Buffalo.

On the whole, no real surprises here. Rask vs. Khudobin was the only real decision, as Anders Bjork will probably sit a couple more games out before drawing back in and McQuaid just isn’t quite ready yet.
Thoughts?
