World Juniors: B’s prospect Oskar Steen makes it to Sweden’s preliminary roster

The 6th round pick of 2016 will have a chance to make his case for the Tre Kronor World Junior team

Yet more Bruins prospects will be ending up in Buffalo. This time, 6th round pick Oskar Steen, from the SHL’s Farjestad BK:

Steen’s had pretty slow year in Farjestad, with 4 points in 25 games. On the international circuit however, he’s been a lot more active for Sweden’s U20 team, currently sitting with the U20’s lead in goals, tied with Stars-prospect Fredrik Karlström. He’s also most notable for scoring 4 goals in a game during the World Juniors Summer showcase, so if nothing else, we know he can be an explosive force when he’s on his game.

Here’s hoping he sticks around for Tre Kronor!
