Colin Miller ejected for crushing Burmistrov

Early in the 2nd period play ground to a screeching halt just inside the Coyotes zone as Colin Miller hit Alex Burmistrov in a super ugly way.

Technically this hit is legal as he does not bring his elbow up nor does he leave his skates, but man that hit was just the worst possible place at the worst possible time and Burmistrov paid for it dearly. He was not able to get up under his own power and had to be carted off the ice on a stretcher. He was able to move his extremities and gave a thumbs up to the crowd as he left.

One can only imagine Chiller will receive some kind of discipline for the hit. Stay tuned with any updates on that.
