League will take no disciplinary action against Colin Miller

After a devastating hit on Alexander Burmistrov of the Coyotes last night, Colin Miller escapes further punishment.

Per the Globe’s Kevin Paul DuPont, Colin Miller will face no additional discipline from the League:

While the hit drew serious in-game punishment in a charging major and game misconduct, it seems the League saw the hit for what it was - unintentionally injury-causing, and otherwise a clean hit.

This move would reduce the risk of future supplemental discipline on Chiller, protecting his reputation somewhat. Good on the coach/GM for trying to protect one of their better younger players.
