Ryan Lindgren goes hard into boards, is helped off ice

The Bruins prospect went hard into the boards after getting tied up and needed help to get off the ice

Ryan Lindgren, the Bruins second round pick in 2016 (acquired in the Johnny Boychuk trade in which they also acquired the Brandon Carlo draft pick) is a freshman defenseman for Minnesota, was hurt playing against Michigan State.

UPDATE:

It definitely looks like Lindgren’s season is over, with his right ankle or potentially leg fractured. Hopefully this is something that he can recover fully from quickly, although this almost assuredly wipes out any shot of the Bruins signing him this offseason.
