Game Notes:

  • Brad Marchand’s 2nd period goal and two tallies from David Pastrnak helped give the B’s a 5-2 win over Calgary last night.
  • Both Marchand and Pastrnkl have at least 30 goals this season, with Marchand leading the NHL (for now) with 36 goals and 76 points.
  • Ostensibly with Khudobin getting the nod in Calgary, it looks like Tuukka Rask will tend net in Edmonton tonight.
  • It’s another matchup against former Bruin Milan Lucic, who has a goal and three assists in his last three games.
  • Last time the B’s faced Edmonton, it was the game they honored the life of Milt Schmidt in Boston, but a Patrick Maroon hat trick gave the Oilers a 4-3 win. Expect a very different Bruins team to roll in tonight.

Never 4get: A shutout and an OT win at the old Rexall Place
