Per the team, Fitzgerald’s entry-level contract is for two years.
Fitzgerald’s season with the Boston College Eagles recently ended, so it’s not a huge surprise that he signed.
The forward had 132 points in 152 career NCAA games.
The team also confirmed the signing of Emil Johansson in the same release; he received a three-year, entry-level deal.
Both players will report to Providence.
