The Bruins appeared to take a 2-1 lead late in the first period when Frank Vatrano cleaned up a rebound on the power play.
However, the Islanders challenged the play for goalie interference and, like every other time the Bruins have a goal challenged due to goalie interference, the goal was taken off the board.
