Bruins Prospects: Three Stars of the Week

USA Blue v USA White - 2014 USA Hockey Junior Evaluation Camp

Week of March 20 - 26

First Star (5 points)

Anders Bjork - Notre Dame (NCAA)

This Week: 2 games played - 2 goals - 3 assists - 10 shots

Bjork had points on five of Notre Dame’s six goals this weekend, leading them to the Frozen Four (along with Ryan Donato and Wiley Sherman of Harvard). He scored both the game-tying and game-winning goal in the win over Minnesota and had assists on all three goals in the OT victory over Lowell. The junior has a 21-31-52 line in 38 games this year.

Second Star (3 points)

Jack Becker - Sioux Falls (USHL)

This Week: 3 games played - 3 goals - 2 assists - 13 shots

Becker scored in all three of his games this week and he added two assists. He has now scored in five straight games.

Third Star (1 point)

Jeremy Lauzon - Rouyn-Noranda (QMJHL)

This Week: 2 games played - 2 goals - 1 assist - 7 shots

Lauzon scored in each of his team’s first two playoff games, but the Huskies find themselves in a 0-2 hole to Halifax. The goals snapped an eight-game goalless streak and gave Lauzon his first multi-goal month (one goal scored in all months except December, when he had none).
