First Star (5 points)

Jeremy Lauzon - Rouyn-Noranda (QMJHL)

This Week: 3 games played - 2 goals - 1 assist - 14 shots

Lauzon registered three assists this week to help Rouyn-Noranda eliminate Halifax and advance to the quarterfinals of the QMJHL playoffs where they are tied 1-1 with Chicoutomi. He has three goals and six assists in eight playoff games thus far.

Second Star (3 points)

Jack Becker - Sioux Falls (USHL)

This Week: 2 games played - 1 goal - 7 shots

Becker’s Sioux Falls failed to make the playoffs so their year ended with the conclusion of the regular season. In his second USHL season Becker doubled his goal tally from the year before (and in nine less games). The 2015 7th-round draft pick will matriculate to Michigan Tech in the fall.

Third Star (1 point)

Jesse Gabrielle - Prince George (WHL)

This Week: 1 game played - 1 assist

Gabrielle’s Prince George Cougars were eliminated by the Portland Winterhawks in six games, ending their season. During the regular season he had 35 goals and 64 points in 61 games but managed just one goal and two assists in the playoffs series.
