Well, there it is, officially. Charlie McAvoy has signed his ELC and joined the Boston Bruins. It may not bode well for Torey Krug or Brandon Carlo, but up comes Charlie Mac, hopefully making his debut in Game 1! For those curious, the reason he burns the first year of his ELC is according to Article 9, Section 1 of the CBA, because McAvoy turns 20 between September 16th and December 31st of this year, the first year of his ELC has to be used up.
