There are certainly a few notes to take from this. McAvoy playing on a line with Chara is an honor, but it’s another thing to see it translate well into a game. Hayes rushing as an extra forward on the third line says something about his health, but Sean Kuraly could slide in at least for Game 1. Most importantly, where were David Krejci or Dominic Moore? The Bruins can’t take any more hits to the lineup, even with the temptation to think Anders Bjork will sign for the playoffs. Noel Acciari did practice for 40 minutes, but in a non-contact sweater. How much will injuries hamper this team?
