Bruce Cassidy officially named head coach of Boston Bruins

Interim is dropped from his title, so he can spend his summer drawing up ways to beat a 1-3-1.

Per the Bruins’ official twitter, Bruce Cassidy has become the 28th head coach of the Boston Bruins, graduating from his 27b title earlier this year.

Here’s a link to the Bruins’ press release. It was good to see the Bruins turn it on at the end of the regular season under Cassidy; now we’ll be able to see if he can manipulate them into a contender over a full 82 games.
