All but two RFAs given qualifying offers

But who are the two?

Boston Bruins v Ottawa Senators - Game Two

Today at 5 PM marked the deadline for teams to extend qualifying offers to their restricted free agents.

By extending the offer, the teams retain the player's rights; passing makes the player free to sign wherever.

The Bruins had ten, and signed qualifying offers for 8: Malcolm Subban, Linus Arnesson, Noel Acciari, Tim Schaller, Zane McIntyre, David Pastrnak, Austin Czarnik and Ryan Spooner.

The team didn't extend offers to Colton Hargrove and Joe Morrow.

Hargrove has never been able to really make the jump to the pros, but he was never touted as a big prospect.

Morrow, on the other hand, is a bit disappointing. The kid arrived from Dallas billed as a player who had the skills, he just needed to grow into them.

It never really materialized for him, but not qualifying him is kind of strange. It signals that the Bruins are likely done waiting for him to develop.

Maybe he'll put it together somewhere else.

Best of luck to the free agents.
