Late August/early September means it’s the hockey doldrums, but it also means a new version of EA Sports’ NHL franchise is on the horizon.

NHL18® will be out in the coming weeks. Today, EA released a full list of the Top 50 players in the game, and four Bruins made the list.

They are:

  • David Pastrnak - 47th in the game with an 87 rating
  • Brad Marchand - 46th in the game with an 87 rating
  • Tuukka Rask - 36th in the game with an 88 rating
  • Patrice Bergeron - 18th in the game with an 89 rating

Rask ended up being the 8th-ranked goalie, behind Carey Price, Braden Holtby, Sergei Bobrovsky, Cory Schneider, Matt Murray, Henrik Lundqvist and Devan Dubnyk.

Pastrnak was #6 on the “Young Stars” list as well.

The Top 5 on the list, in order: Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Price and Alexander Ovechkin.

Your thoughts? Who’s too high? Too low?
